This hive was in a water main box near our property. Don't know how long it's been there but the water company probably had to remove them...in order to read the meters.
"There are 3 additional swarms that set up shop in my irrigation boxes last Spring '09. AND there is another hive nearby down another street that was in the ground! THat's 5 within a half mile radius I have put one into a hivebody cause I need my irrigation box."
