Reported May 14, 2011 · Coordinates shown rounded for hive safety

This hive is at the back of Avondale park. It is right where the old spring used to come out of the ground. The spring has now been capped. Once one of the most important places in Jefferson Countynow it is forgotten and hard to find if you don't know where it is. Go to Avondale Park the hive located at the baseball field beyond the outfield fence left field. RIght where the spring used to emerge. There is a shallow cave and the hive is right at the entrance.
