30 or so feet off the ground has been around for at least the past 4 years size = unknown It is on the property of Mill Creek Preserve next to a small east-west running creek if you climb the hill across the creek and look north for a pair of trees joined at the trunk you will find the hive (well at least the opening in the tree). In the summer the bees can be found collecting water in a rocky bend in the creek and if it is warm enough a large mass of bees can be seen hanging from the entrance. PLEASE NOTE: The preserve is not open to the public in that area...permission may be needed before accessing the hive location. I am willing to show the location of the hive is anyone wants to call or email..
