Two colonies living in stored bee boxes under shed. One has been there since 1997 the other since 2000. Both colonies swarm most years and appear to be very strong. They have had no management from me in the time that they have lived there.
I have been inspired to get back in to beekeeping after giving it up because of mites in 1994. I plan to do some splits and raise queens from these two hives.
