Wild honeybee hive near Rivesville, WV

Reported August 2, 2012 · Coordinates shown rounded for hive safety

A hive we owned swarmed in the spring of 2004 and entered the side of our house through an old small hole once used to run cable TV. They live between the outer and inner wall in our living room. They have been there ever since with no medication no human intervention. They seemed to be very strong this summer and are apparently doing very well - actually better than other hives we manage. They are approximately 3' from the ground and very gentle. We've never been stung although we pass by their entrance often.
