This is a rescued bee tree that was provided by Nancy Young from Austin TX (originally from Fuquay-Varina. The bee tree was originally located on Ballentine Dairy RD Fuquay-Varina. The tree died and Nancy and her husband paid to have a tree crew disassemble the tree on August 8 2008 and using a crane/truck moved over to our property. The tree originally was probably 60' tall and the section containing the bees is about 8' high. It is this section that is on our property. The tree is anchored with stakes and guy wires to keep it stable and from falling over.
