I have not located the hive but we have many many honey bees on our cucumbers and Russian sage especially and have for the past couple years. The type of hive is unknown but that is not a choice. I don't know if this is helpful information or not. At one time there was a beekeeper in our neighborhood (Mr. Turnipseed I believe) but he died several years ago.
