7' off the ground in the trunk of a catalpa tree. There have been bees in this tree every summer for the 6 years I've lived here. The current colony came in the spring of '06 and is entering it's third winter. There is also another colony in the tree next to this one but they have not survied any winters. This is on private property. No tresspassing please.
