Obtained two honeybee colonies from a beekeeper that passed away in 2007. These hives were acquired during Sept. 2010. They have not had any human interaction since at least 2007. The one colony is very strong for not having any human assistance. I have not treated them with any chemicals and will only feed them sugar water this fall.
